Sterile Compounding

Velaris RX Pharmacy is a licensed sterile compounding pharmacy and proud PCCA member. We routinely prepare a wide variety of sterile preparations in our specially designed and constructed clean room.

Our skilled pharmacists and pharmacy technicians prepare medications according to USP Chapter 797, the regulatory standard for sterile pharmaceutical preparations.

Our procedures include:

  • Lab testing of finished products, both in-house and independently
  • Environmental microbiology sampling and monitoring
  • Particle count monitoring of the sterile environment
  • Independent testing for sterility, stability, and potency

Non-Sterile Compounding

Compounding combines an ageless art with the latest medical knowledge and state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to provide patients with customized medications.

We can prepare medications in a variety of dosage forms including capsules, topical creams, transdermal gels, troches, suppositories, oral suspensions, and more.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Velaris RX specializes in preparing custom bio-identical hormones. Hormones are essential to the workings of every cell in the human body — and even one unbalanced hormone can adversely affect all others.

We compound hormone therapies for both men and women to address symptoms including hot flashes, fatigue, weight gain, mood changes, low libido, and more. Our pharmacists can work with you and your medical provider to accurately test hormone levels and develop a personalized treatment plan.

We are certified in the Wiley Protocol System for bio-identical hormone therapy.
